Chapter 6: First Kiss

When we kiss, it had felt like there was no other care in the world was going on.It was the best feeling ever! When we depart out lips we smile at each other, then Sadie looks away from me looking at Valentine. I put my hand against her ear and wipe her tears away."Let me see the text you got from the mysterious person." I say, she hands me her phone and I look at the text.

I'm still here bitch and I hear and see everything you do so

I give back her phone,"Sadie..You need to show someone this!" I say worriedly,"No! No one can ever know about this!"She says "Well why not?","Cause everything else in my life has been horrible and it was just starting to get better but now this! Please ALEX! DON'T TELL ANYONE!" She says pleading me,"Ok,Ok! I wont"I say hold her. We get up and leave the stable and go to the water fountain in the stable courtyard. "How long has this been going on, Sadie?" I ask "This is the first time" She replies."Um.... I gotta go."She says "Wait, Sadie can we meet later?" "Sure, when Alex?" She says "How about at the candy show after school, is that good?" "Yea, that's good bye."

*Later that day*

I walked down the hall in the IBC building towards to Social Studies class, That was always my best and favorite subject. I walked in and sat first in the first row, ready to learn more about our state and country. I wait about five minutes when Destiny,Misty, and Sadie walk into the room, They all sit next to me Destiny to my left, Misty behind me, and Sadie to my right. "Hey Alex! Can I see your schedule?" Destiny ask,"Sure, Here it is" I say giving it to her.

1. History(Kimber Prejean)
2. Reading/Language(Kelly Dronet)
3. Science(Michelle Hutton)
4. Math(Elmira Trent)
5. Lunch/R.T.I
6. Health(Joseph Richey)
7. Physical Education"P.E"(James Welch) 

She looks at it and tells me what classes she has with me. She has Math, Science, Health with me and then she hands it back to me. Just then Ms.Prejean walks into the room and write her name on the bored."Ok! My name is Kimber Prejean, but call me Ms.Prejean!" She say "Can any one tell me who the father of our country is and what leading event had made him become the first president?" she asks to the class. I raise my hand high and she calls on me."George Washington, was our Nations Father. The leading events that made him our first president were, he was a revolutionary war hero, he was know for his bravery and his courage. Also I know that for a fact that he is also related to me." I say to her(Hey its me the author I am actually related to him through marriage, and also related to Pocahontas.)  "Yes you are correct, also I would like for you to bring proof of that" She say to me "Will do."I say with respect and smile. After that I answered every question right and then we took a pop quiz at the end of class and she said that I was the only one to make a 100/100, I was amazed by that. Then all my friends started to ask me to help them study.

Chapter 5: Sweet Bitter First Days

*The next day*

BEEP! BEEP! I sit up in my bed to the sound of my alarm."Oh CRAP! It's 5 AM!" I say Exhausted, I get up and gather my clothe. I pick out a red muscle shirt that said "Eat, Sleep, Breathe RODEO!" on the back. Then I pick out some old torn black jeans then I put on my boots. Then I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and other things. After that I grab my books. I leave the dorm and head to the stable. Once I was out in the clear away from the dorms I walk down the cement sidewalks seeing my giant shadow on the ground. Once I get to the stable I hurry to Valentines stall and see her sleeping in the corner, when I opened her stall door I sat next to her. She picked up her head when I sat down, I loved everything about her from her curly eyelashes to her beautiful Palomino coat to her braveness, courage, and her kindness. When I was laying on her closing my eyes for a minute when I heard a familiar girls voice coming from the door way of the stall. I open up my eyes to find my self face to face with Sadie."Couldn't sleep?" She asked "No, you?" I asked "Well, I am just nervous about today."She says sitting down next to me "Don't be, your gonna have the best school day today." I say "I will if your there" She said then her eyes widen,"Did I just say that out loud?" She said hoping not "Yea, I hope your there to" I say with a smile. She smiles "Thanks. You really help with my jitters Alex." She says with happiness "Glad to."I say. Just then she lays against me starting to cry, "Why are you crying Sadie?" I ask "It's just tha-" She says then stops "Just what?" I try to get her to continue "It's just that this person keeps sending me theses text threatening to hurt or do anything to me." She says teary eyed "I'm so sorry about that Sadie" I say while comforting her. "Thanks, She looks up at me in the eyes and just gazes. Then she kisses me.

Chapter 4: New Roommate

As I approach my dad I can tell he is mad at me."ALEX ROY! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN! YOU HAD ME WORRIED SICK!" He said yelling angrily, "Sorry dad it was just that I saw some old friend and we just started talking and time got away." I said looking down at my boots "Well just next time text or call me. ok?" He said a bit more calm,"ok." I say "Look i gotta go don't be late for class tomorrow!" He said walking away. I sigh in relief, I walk back to my dorm. When I get there I unlock the door and see a a boy almost my height, he looks like a Jock type person, He has black thick curly hair with dark blue eyes. He looks tan and muscular, He might swim or play sports or something. "Hi, are you Cole?" I say "Yea and you are?" He says waiting for my answer "Alex, Alex Roy" I say with a smile, then he stands there like I did him and examined me. Then I start unpacking my things I start with the bathroom, then when I finished that I unpacked my bed stuff and put my blanket and pillows and things there. Then I moves to my computer and printer, I hooked my computer to the internet. When I finished that I unpacked my 1st place buckles, ribbons, and trophies on my dresser and shelf, then I unpacked pictures and Books.
Then I was officially done unpacking I plopped onto my bed and laid there, Then a couple minutes later I got up and went to the bathroom and locked the door and took off my clothes and turned the water on and got my shampoo and towel. I hop into the shower and wet my hair and grab my shampoo and conditioner, I washed out the conditioner out of my hair until I felt my hair become soft. I washed the rest of my body and when I was done I turned off the water and got out and dried myself and wrapped a towel around my waist. I unlocked the door to go out and get some sweat pants and underwear, then when I got some I went back to the bathroom and put them on.
When I was done I came back out I jump into my bed face and stomach first. "I am so not ready for SCHOOL!" I said with a dread. Then I set my alarm clock and turned off the lamp and went to sleep.

Chapter 3: Old Friends Unite!

After I left the stable I took out my phone and saw that my dad had sent me 3 text messages I checked them.

Dad: 3:30 pm
        Hey Alex I just finished unloading your things.

Dad: 3:55 pm
        You there Alex? Did you find you way back to the stable yet?

Dad: 4:08 pm
        Alex just meet me in front of your dorm when you can.

I read the messages and text him back, "Hey Dad, I finished getting Valentine to the stable. I'm on
my way now. Just then I run into My Best friends Misty and Destiny sitting under one of the willow
trees. I walked over to them, as I am walking over there I can hear the clanking of my spurs jiggling 
around on my boots. When I am close enough they look up and smile at me, "I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN FOREVER!" They said in unison "Jinx's" They laugh together. I sit down next them both and smile back "Did either of you meet your roommate yet?" I said "Yep, Shes sitting next to me" Misty says smiling, putting her arm around Destiny. "Cool! I've haven't met mine yet." I say playing with the grass "Do you know his name?" Destiny asks "Yes, I think its..." I say trying to remember "Oh! its Cole Riley" I say. "Nice name!" Destiny says while sticking her tongue at me playfully.

I look at my phone and realized that I forgot to go meet my dad."OH! CRAP!" I say "What is it Alex?" Misty says "I forgot I had to meet my dad at the dorm" I say getting up "Oh Alex!" Destiny says "Yea?" I say in a hurry "Wheres Valentine at I want to meet her!" She says "Oh Row C-Stall 14" I say walking away.I start running towards the dorms and my feet start to ache MAN! I hate running in boots I think to myself. When I get there I can tell my dad is P/O at me!

Chapter 2: The Stable Celeb

After I had talked to Sadie 'Huba! Huba!' I started to walk towards the
stable and when we arrived at the stable entrance I stopped to take in
every single detail that my blue eyes could take in. I took in the details of
how the stable was built from the masonry stone wall and the beautiful pink and
red rose bushes that lined along the outer wall. I took in the fountain in the middle of
the stable courtyard. I stepped towards the fountain and look at the mini little fishes
swimming around in the water, Valentine lowered her head and breathed into the water
and I tugged slightly telling to not drink the water. I cant have my horse choking on a fountain
fish on my first day of school. I look up at the mossy trees and oak and willow trees planted
all of the courtyard with benches and picnic tabled under them. Just that second a fountain fish jumped out of the water and splashed me, "UGH! You stupid fish!" I said bitterly.
I snap back into reality, and started to head towards the stable and as soon as I walked in I stood there speechless of how beautiful the inside of the stable looks.I look around at the Stable kitchen and locker rooms. I saw a huge tack room and exercise room for the horses."Whoa... Now this is a stable!" I say to my self. I turn to the left and see a stall arrangement chart and I look for
Valentine's stall " Ah. There it is, Row C-Stall 14" I said with happiness, I head off and search for
Valentine's stall and when I find it. It has a golden name plate that says Valentine ~Stall 14~ I looked
to the side and saw there was a built in hay and water bucket. Also there was a built in tack and grooming box. "I take back what I said before, NOW this is a stable!" I say with excitement.
Then just then I hear giggling. I go to turn an look. I see a group of girls laughing and talking about me, I pretend that I don't hear them and I listen. "He's so tan an muscular." One of the girls say, "I know
he's so cute and tall and just....UGH! Irresistible!"A girl says laughing and smiling. Well I guess I am already a stable celebrity. I open up Valentines stall and unhook her lead rope and latch the door and hang the rope on the door. As I go to leave I walk past the group of girls "Hey!" I say with a cute smile. When I turn the corner I hear them giggling and EEPING with excitement.

Chapter 1: First Day Love

As my dad drove into the drive through of the academy, I started to clutch my stomach. "Dad, I'm so nervous." I said he looked at me and tried to examine my emotions, "Son, don’t worry about today. You have your horse Valentine and your friends." He said "Yea I know" I said.

He drove into the parking lot and put the truck into park. Dad turned over and looked at me " Alex why don’t you unload Valentine and bring her to the stable, while I unload your stuff to your dorm." He said "Sure." I said I opened the door and that split second the fall air blew into my face, I scanned the whole area. I looked from the trees to the fountain and to the other students unloading their belongings.

I unlatched the trailer door and stepped inside the trailer and unhooked the gate door. "Hey girl." I say stepping towards her and petting her shoulder. "Welcome to your new home girl" taking her by the lead rope and when she was done unloading I latched the trailer door and started to walk towards the giant " WELCOME TO DRYCREEK RIDING ACADEMY" sign and started to search for the sign that showed the way to the stable.

About thirty-five minutes just standing there looking like an idiot before finding the Stable sign. It was hiding under a drape of old vines hanging from the stable wall, just then I hear someone yelling my name and I turn around to look. I see a short petite blond girl about half my height. "ALEX! ALEX! OVER HERE!" The girl yells while waving at me and with the other trying to block out the sun from her eyes. As I start to walk towards the girl, she starts to walks towards me to. Once We were close enough I realized who she was, it was my "CRUSH" Sadie Walker.

"Hey Sadie, I didn't recognize you from afar." I smile, afar? Who says afar? UGH! I'm so stupid!

"Hey Alex! Ooh.. I LOVE your shirt!" she say pointing at my shirt. I look down at my Sleeveless shirt that had a  GO HATHAWAY HORNETS image printed onto the front of front of my shirt. "Oh! That's my basketball t-shirt from my old school." BEEP! BEEP!.. Her watch goes off "Oh! I've got to go. See you next time, How about I just give you my number" She says smiling "Sure, I'll put mine in yours to" We hand each other our phones and type in our numbers. "See ya, Alex" She steps forward and stop and pets Valentine and kisses her muzzle before she leaves. "Bye Valentine" She walks off. I whisper to Valentine "Did she just ask me out?" I say smiling.
